Reinventing Yourself: Stop the BS. Time to Get Real.

What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. – Confucius

Nothing is wrong. I just need to get that spark back.

A lot of the coaching I’ve done lately with folks is centered around the theme that nothing is technically wrong with life, but that something is still missing that makes them feel not completely fulfilled. Be-it work or a relationship, I’m hearing the same thing: I need a good kick in the butt to get out of this stuck feeling so I can get that spark back in life.

Oh, I just love hearing those words because that is where I get to enter the picture and help.

Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s frustrating. I’ve been there, done that, and will be there again. Fosho.

And as overwhelming as it feels and unrealistic as it sounds to you when you are paralyzed by these tidal wave of thoughts, it is more simple than you know. It really is. I can attest to it because I have been able to reinvent myself and transform my life after every loss I endured both professionally and personally.

However, I’m never one to tell you to take every thing I say, or anyone says, as matter-of-fact. I have always been a strong proponent of testing and trying things on for yourself to become a true believer. You wouldn’t walk into a department store and buy a pair of shoes just because your friend told you they would look nice on you. You would try them on first to confirm that they fit, right?

You are a smart person. I know this because you’re on my blog site reading this post! So, I won’t insult your intelligence. I know you already know what is currently challenging you. That is why this past summer I put together this FREE SPECIAL REPORT: “5 Passion-Sucking Mistakes You’re Making & How to Get Back Your Life Spark” to help you get what you need to break through those barriers.

Here’s an excerpt from the free special report:

You can have more of the life you want. You just have to want it badly enough. And, I want to give you the tools to achieve it.

To do more of what you love with who you love, you need to live with passion. You need to know what inspires you every day to wake up and keep doing it willingly no matter how challenging life gets. You need to have confidence and belief in yourself even when you can’t see the forest through the trees.

The truth is that most people know they need to do this. Many people know they want to do this. And only some people choose to do this. What is “this?” This is rediscovering and reigniting your dormant passion so you can have a meaningful and blissful life. And I’m going to show you how.

You get the concept. It’s seems pretty simple. And, why haven’t you gotten this down by now?

Here’s why:

IT’S NOT STRESS THAT KILLS US IT’S OUR REACTION TO IT. – HANS SELYE

Like you, I wanted to achieve the American dream. That fancy corporate sales job. Jump on a plane to close huge deals with big national companies. I wanted to own nice things and live in a luxurious home. Well, I got what I wanted. I was a career employee for over 12 years chasing the wrong dream. Until three years ago when I took a leap of faith to start my own business, I was trading in my time and energy from my life and son to become married to my job.

You know what I’m talking about! On the outside you appear successful. On the inside, you feel out of balance and unfulfilled. And now, you’ve become defined by what you do rather than why you do it. The passion has been sucked out of your life and you find yourself back at square one questioning your own self-worth.

Am I getting hotter? Yeah, I thought so.

Trust me, you’re not alone! That’s why I’ve created this special report for people, like you, who sometimes just need a good kick in the shin and a life spark.

Enough of the BS.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m in no way saying that having a corporate job is bad. In fact, it was the best job I had working for any employer prior to becoming a solopreneur. However, where I was mistaken was thinking that the fancy job title, big salary, and perception of looking important were going to fulfill me internally. They were all false representations of success, only I didn’t know that. And if I was convinced that I was successful, then I would feel that I was good enough as a person.

But the problem with my mindset at the time was not so much that I wasn’t successful by societal means. It was that no matter how much I acquired bigger, better and nicer things, I always felt a huge void inside me because there was always someone who had bigger, better and nicer things than I did. We’re human. We all do this.

“I’m not where I thought I’d be in life. My friends are married with children and I am single and not getting any younger.”

“I make great money, but I won’t feel satisfied until I am CEO.”

“I am divorced with kids so I don’t have the freedom to do all the things I always dreamed of doing.”

All excuses. Every single one of them.

I’m going to give it to you straight. They don’t call me a shin kicking life spark for nothing.

These are all lies we tell ourselves to stay stuck in our story. What do I mean by that?

As long as we can blame all of the external factors that hold us back from moving forward, we can feel less crappy about our failures and put the onus on others.

I’m calling out your BS my friends.

It’s time to get real!

Once you stop lying to yourself and accept full responsibility to make the intention to get unstuck and take deliberate action to back that up, only then you can truly begin having more of the life you want.

Again, don’t believe what I say. I don’t need you to be a believer of Berni Xiong. This is not about me. This is bigger than me. This is even bigger than you. And once you start realizing that you had the power and the control the entire time, you will begin to see some amazing things happen in your life. It’s liberating, empowering, and personally freeing.

Don’t trust me. Trust the process.

I’m simply giving you the tools to get your started:  FREE SPECIAL REPORT: “5 Passion-Sucking Mistakes You’re Making & How to Get Back Your Life Spark”. But YOU have got to do the work. Don’t let another year of regret and inaction go by. You owe it to yourself to grab life by the horns and go get what you want.

So, go get ‘em tiger!
